Dubai South (DWC)

Dubai South Free Zone is located in Dubai World Central (DWC), part of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation.

The complex is a multi-phased development justifyed around the world’s largest International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport and is close to the famous Jebel Ali area of Dubai. At 140 km2, it is almost twice the size of Hong Kong and it is a new city where 945,000 people are expected to live and work- more than the present population of Frankfurt and almost that of Stockholm!

The development is strategically situated to the south of Jebel Ali, connected to the Jebel Ali Port via the Logistics Corridor and provides direct access to two of Dubai’s primary road networks – Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (previously known as Emirates Road) and Sheikh Zayed Road.

The integrated master plan of Dubai South comprises eight districts: The Al Maktoum International Airport, Logistics District, Aviation District, Residential District, Commercial District, Humanitarian District, Exhibition District and finally The Golf District, spanning approximately 200 square kilometers.

Dubai South offer’s flexible office solutions, including plug and play serviced desks and offices, as well as freehold & leasehold offices for retail and commercial use, complimented by a full range of business activity options which mirror those of permitted by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development activities, from general trading, consultancies, to sports related activities, to beauty salons retail outlets.

At present, Dubai South issue one of the cheapest Dubai-based packages available in the market, with their license costs starting from AED 10,000 annually (or AED 20,000 for general trading).
